About Pearl: Pearl manily occurs in two ways . Natural Peral and Cultured Pearl.Natural pearl are very very expensive and today they almost doesnot exist anymore.A natural pearl forms when a little grain of sand or other little irritating thing (parasitic type of living or non-living objects) inside the shell of an oyster . After years and years of natural processing wihin the oyster body, a large pearl forms around the intruder part. This process takes many years ,so natural pearl almost very very rare. But as the science and tecnology advances ,In the 1920s, a Japanese guy called Mikimoto finally succeeded in forcing an oyster to produce a pearl without killing it.In this breakthrough a bead made out of shell is stuck in the oyster with a little bit of oyster tissue.The bead which is introduced are round or differnet shape accordingly the variety of cultured pearl found. Virtually all of the "real" pearls on the market today are cultured, including Japanese Akoya (the classic white pearls), Tahitian, South Sea, and Chinese freshwater pearls. Although the pearl todays are cultured ,they are process in nature so they represent the Natural Pearl.
