Rudraksha Wearing

Do's and Don'ts of Wearing Rudraksha Bead

Rudraksha beads can be worn by anyone, regardless of age, sex, caste, or culture. According to scriptures like Srimad Devabhagawaam, Shiva Purana, and Padma Purana, there are no strict rules or restrictions for wearing Rudrakshas. Here are some tips to maintain the sanctity and longevity of your Rudraksha beads:

Energize Your Rudraksha: Before wearing Rudraksha for the first time, it should be energized. Ideally, wear it on a Monday after chanting "Om namaha shivaya" 9 or 108 times, focusing on your desires and problems. (All Rudrakshas from Rudraksha Nepal are energized using Vedic procedures before dispatch.)

  • Avoid Certain Places:Do not wear Rudraksha while attending funerals or visiting brothels.
  • Do Not Share:Rudraksha should not be shared or transferred to another person once it has been worn.
  • Wear Close to Heart:Always wear Rudraksha around your neck, ensuring the beads touch your heart area to pass energy through your body.
  • Intercourse:There is no harm in wearing Rudraksha during intercourse. It can even enhance reproductive functions.
  • Choose the Right Thread:Rudraksha is best worn in black, yellow, or white thread, or in metals like silver, gold, or copper. The effects remain the same regardless of the material.
  • Keep It Private:Avoid showing your Rudraksha to others. Keeping it hidden ensures the benefits are exclusive to you.
  • Continuous Wear:Wear Rudraksha continuously for maximum benefit. Avoid removing and re-wearing it intermittently.
  • Part of Daily Life:Make Rudraksha a part of your daily life. Wear it like clothing and do not overthink its presence for better effects.
  • Dietary Habits:Your dietary habits, including non-veg food, alcohol, and smoking, do not affect the benefits of Rudraksha. It can even help normalize excessive habits.
  • Keep Close to Skin:Keep the beads as close to your skin as possible and avoid letting others touch them. Rudraksha can also be kept in your Puja room for family blessings.
  • Replace Broken Threads:If the thread breaks, simply replace it and continue wearing the Rudraksha.

Maintenance:

  • Maintainingyour Rudraksha is crucial for its longevity:
  • Oil Regularly:Every 15-20 days, oil your beads with mustard, sandalwood, or olive oil.
  • Clean Monthly:Wash your beads monthly with hot water. Dip them for a few minutes, brush each bead, rinse, dry, and oil them again before wearing.
  • Care During Sleep:If you sleep in one position, you can wear Rudraksha beads. If you move a lot during sleep, remove them and place them near your head or under your pillow to prevent damage.
  • Avoid Water Exposure:Do not wear Rudraksha during showers or baths to prevent them from getting wet and reducing their longevity.
  • Dry in Sun:If the beads get wet, dry them in the sun for 5-6 hours to maintain their health.

(Most importantly, do not misuse the power of Rudrakshas.)
